The Franchi LAW-12 semi-auto shotgun was designed by Italian gun manufacturing company Luigi Franchi Spa during early 1980s, prior to the “Assault Weapons Ban”. The LAW-12 is a gas operated 12 gauge which uses an annular gas piston. The smooth action of the LAW-12, along with the full size pistol grip allows the gun to be held and fired with one hand.
