The Kimber Micro 9 is a well-renowned micro-compact 9mm 1911-style handgun. With a mechanically ideal single-action trigger, great ergonomics, and Tritium night sights from the factory, this gun is a fantastic concealment pistol for non-permissive environments, or for the shooter with very small hands. If I ever taught a woman who was convinced her hands were too small for any pistol, or an elderly person who thought they weren't strong enough to rack a slide on a pistol, I would hand them this gun, and they would be amazed at its ease of use. I'm a large-handed man and I bought this pistol a while ago when I still believed the myth that for a gun to conceal well, it must be small. I kept it around, though, because of its incredible small size making it a fantastic candidate for ANKLE CARRY. I wear a pair of bootcut jeans and wrap this baby up in my AlienGear ankle holster and it is invisible and totally solid. I've tried my hardest to kick this gun off my leg in that holster. I've ran, jumped, done somersaults, but it does not budge. I've worn it to concerts, the speedway, any event without full-body metal detectors and security staff too lazy to wand you all the way to your feet. It also comes with a leather right handed IWB holster that accepts an extra magazine. The gun is in fair condition, with many cosmetic blemishes from previous owners before me. It is a well broken-in gun, which hasn't caused any malfunctions in my time owning it, but DOES contribute (I think) to the very easy recoil and magazine springs. It'd be a great carry piece for individuals with arthritis.
